Network Marketing Strategies For Small Businesses

Back in 2011, I joined International MBA. For me, coming from a legal background, the MBA was a quick way to change direction.

The Network Marketing Business Model

I wanted to pursue a career in business (as an entrepreneur rather than a manager). I wanted to quickly find a career path to move to America (I'm originally from Italy).

Fast forward to 2013 and after completing my MBA with an emphasis in Corporate Finance and Business Strategy, I landed a job as an analyst in California.

However, instead of becoming an entrepreneur, I settled into a static career path I would have to take a few linear steps – just like the military – and wait a few more years to move up the ladder.

Fast forward four years into my MBA and three years into my new life in California. My career journey through MBA was not satisfactory for me.

For that I joined MBA. So I resigned, moved back to Italy and started my own digital business (lots of stuff happened in between, like I'm to NYC for a few months, but for brevity, let's skip that part for now).

Most of the I learned in business school, while most useful for a linear career path, I learned in an organization.

They don't apply to me as a digital entrepreneur. So I had to go back and study on my own, experimenting a lot and learning new things in the process.

To make things more interesting, I joined a high-tech startup back in 2016, for which I still lead the enterprise unit.

FW is not for quick business education; concerning a minimum level of business education that leads to action rather than inaction;

It is about original and independent research, the fruit of thousands of hours of analysis, research and thinking.

The name might trick you into thinking you can learn everything there is to know in four weeks.

Instead, it's a concept about embarking on a journey where, in a few weeks, you can learn the basics of advanced business concepts for the real world.

Personally, it took me years to master some of the concepts I cover on this blog, and often the transition is forgetting things that no longer apply or never existed.

The real world is very contextual. Things that work in one environment either don't work or worse can be disastrous in a new context and environment.

How To Network If You're A Small Or Medium Business Owner

That's why I try to be agnostic. There are tons of tools, frameworks, and methods you can use, but each one needs to be evaluated against the environment you're in.

However, the process is important. As it helps you quickly gain an understanding of the context, the process remains.

In 2015, when I shifted from my previous career to focus on building digital businesses, I that the education I received through my MBA did not help me much in building a digital business.

That's why I started documenting my new journey so I could think about creating resources for the business school I wanted to work with as I built my own business.

As I put more things out into the world, I was able to gather feedback on whether those resources would be valuable to other practitioners in the real world, and that's what got me, and still, what keeps me going.

When I hear people send messages about how they did on resources from; how they started their business; How they transitioned in their careers or started a new role is what gives me satisfaction and happiness.

I need to be financially stable in order to fund my passion and research and help more and more people learn advanced business concepts.

The business world changed rapidly; The digital world has changed how entrepreneurship works and understanding those dynamics has become critical. That's why I created this blog. Here I've documented all the lessons I've learned over the years and made them available to you, making it the go-to place for digital entrepreneurs, executives and marketers.

When I first started in digital marketing, I came from a completely different background. Graduated as a lawyer, after completing my international MBA, I worked as a financial analyst in a real estate investment firm. That experience taught me to look at hard numbers and understand the business logic behind any company's balance sheet. When you understand how money moves, you can understand the strategic thinking behind any company.

When I approached digital marketing, I was looking for ways to free from the typical 9-5 job and be on my own. The is that most of the things that can be found on the web end up being very less useful. I quickly learned that visibility doesn't mean relevance. However, I wanted to publish practical resources that anyone can use to grow their business, or at least gain a better understanding of the business world.

Social Media Marketing For Businesses

Then I joined a tech startup. There I helped the company improve its business operations since the end of 2016. One thing that was clear to me from day one is that a solid distribution strategy is critical to the success of any company. From there I learned everything I could about business modeling, business strategy, distribution strategies and growth marketing.

An MBA can be a valuable program for people who want to further their business career. And for aspiring entrepreneurs. However, there are some fundamental aspects of MBA programs that are quite risky by today's standards.

As the business world is changing faster and faster, the opportunity cost of enrolling in an MBA program has become too much for many to bear.

However, this is only part of the story – I would argue. In fact, MBA programs today have become more risky for a few reasons:

Digital Marketing Strategies: Latest Techniques And Tools For Small Business Success

In this blog, I cover business models. I focus most of my attention on game-changing models. Make sure it's not about distractions. What we accept and give is a modern model of business and education. However, that model has its basis in a world that has evolved over the past decades.

Many contemporary business models that have reshaped the business world, and rewritten the rules, seem to harken back to an earlier era. Centralized and closed models prevailed in the last decades. New technologies finally allow the decentralization, centralization, and relocation of organizations, processes, and teams.

So, you can learn anything related to business development, distribution, business modeling and digital entrepreneurship.

One of the most important lessons learned while studying technology companies is that distribution and the ability to design a sustainable business model is one of the most important aspects. If a company is based on a technical product or service, founders tend to be technical people (engineers or programmers). It's great and it allows us to create an incredible product. This will lead to oversight of proper sales and distribution strategies that will help turn the business around quickly and sustainably!
